February 20th- March 2nd we were having a ball on Grand Cayman Island. My sister-in-law Stacy has friends who own a beautiful villa on Seven Mile Beach and they offered it to her to celebrate her 40th birthday. John & Dave (Stacy's hubby) also have February birthdays so we planned a celebration trip- John & I, Stacy & Dave & their friends Bobby & Susan. We had a wonderful time & now we have two new Birmingham friends in Bobby & Susan-what a great couple! Would you believe me if I told you that we got snowed in in the Cayman Islands and our original flight home was cancelled? It was... Memphis had the most snow it's had in 8 or 9 years, the kids sure enjoyed it. The trip was absoultely wonderful, we all want to go back & take the kids next time. Kind of hard to believe but I didn't take a million pictures, apparently I take more pictures when the kids are around... but here's a few I'd like to share. There is a link at the end of this post to something Susan put together on smilebox, it has a TON of pictures from our vacation on there- please go and check it out, it's great!

John & Dave heading down to go snorkeling. The guys went snorkeling a few times everyday and saw more right off the beach in front of the villa than they did on any of the scuba dives they did. They saw lobster, stingray, barracuda, turtle, & of course beautiful fish, coral, & conch. Boy have we got a story about conch. Susan's link has a bunch of pictures of their snorkeling & scuba adventures.
John, Dave, Susan, & Bobby coming back in from snorkeling. Yup... Stacy & I declined their invitation to join them & relaxed on the beach. It was nice getting some quiet time to talk with her, usually we're keeping up with kids or we're on the phone & mine are yelling in the background. I love ya girl!

Mr. Turtle, I took several pictures of him because I kept missing him stick his head out of the water. We went to this turtle place that was like an under funded SeaWorld but was also a turtle farm... it was kind of weird. They had this (well it looked cool) area where you could snorkel with fish but when I started swimming out there was all of this really gross algae everywhere & I kept thinking about that water getting in my ears & getting an earache so I went back to relax with the girls. They guys snorkeled around & said they saw massive amounts of fish, sounded like they enjoyed themselves.
These are the tarpon (a type of fish), see their eyes glowing. Dave made us a reservation at this nice restaurant called the Wharf where they feed the tarpon every night at 9 p.m. The video below is of a guy feeding the fish, it's wild. As soon as they finished feeding them the majority of the tarpon left, they aren't contained or anything they just swam back out to sea.
Stacy, Dave, & I celebrating Mardi Gras @ the Kaibo Yacht Club. Yes, I had too much to drink- enough said.
Susan & Bobby celebrating @ Kaibo too!

John & I in "Hell." Hell is only as big as a minute but... they do have a post office so you can send everyone postcards with the Hell postmark.

This is the link to check out more of our vacation pictures. Thanks Susan for putting this together it's really cute!
